Best Ana build in Overwatch 2 Stadium

Ana is one of the more difficult supports to effectively utilize in Overwatch 2, considering her emphasis on scoping as a slow-moving sniper. When playing her in Stadium, we want to expand her reach where her kit is typically limited, since it’s dependent on your accuracy skills.
You also want to safeguard against potential kit alterations and improvements that the enemy team will apply. So, here’s what we think is the best Ana build for both situations.
Powers
This table is in order of which Power you should prioritize selecting. You can choose in rounds one, three, five, and seven. However, you’ll typically unlock three powers before a match ends.
Power | Description |
---|---|
![]() No Scope Needed | Landing unscoped shots with Biotic Rifle grants 10% Attack Speed for 2s, stacking up to 3 times. |
![]() Your Full Potential | Nano Boost also grants the target 20% Ultimate Charge and 200 Overhealth. |
![]() Time Out | Biotic Grenade now knocks enemies back and reduces their Move Speed by 50% for 1.5s. |
![]() Dreamy | Sleep Dart can hit allies, healing 100% of their max Life over 8s instead of putting them to sleep. |
Ana can only be effective if you can scope and aim well, but you can utilize her outside this constraint in Stadium mode. No Scope Needed is an absolute essential, granting you bonuses with each shot that lands. It also goes hand in hand with our top item pick, Potent Projectiles.
You’ll want to focus on building up your ultimate too, making Your Full Potential a great pick as it buffs your ultimate.
You can use Time Out to shut the enemy team down by utilizing it alongside other teammates’ powers, like Kiriko’s Crossing Guard. Meanwhile, Dreamy comes in handy as you’ll be using sleep dart a lot more. Focus on staying in the back lines and using sleep dart whenever you need to heal aliies rather than aiming at enemies.
Items
Item | Stats | Effect | Price |
---|---|---|---|
![]() Dash Boots | 5% Move Speed | Jumping in mid-air will dash you a short distance. | 4,000 |
![]() Potent Projectiles | 10% Weapon Power | Unscoped Biotic Rifle projectiles are 100% larger. | 5,000 |
![]() Eye of Horus | 50 Shields | Nano Boost can target allies through walls and its range is increased by 60m. | 9,000 |
![]() Target Tracker | 15% Biotic Grenade Duration | For each enemy or ally affected by Biotic Grenade, gain 5% Attack Speed, up to 25%. | 4,000 |
![]() Perfected Formula | 25 Shields 15% Nano Boost Duration | N/A | 4,000 |
![]() Champion’s Kit | 40% Ability Power | N/A | 13,500 |
We’ve also listed this table in priority order. Dash Boots is the first item you want to buy to boost your movement speed so you can stay close to your team and escape one-on-one encounters. Potent Projectiles is just as important to pair up with the No Scope Needed Power. It also has weapon power bonus to encourage dealing damage, something you should also aim to do to accelerate your ultimate charge.
Eye of Horus ensures that you can rely on your ultimate regardless of the situation. This means that you’ll most likely be able to turn the tide of battle because you can now use it from a distance and out of sight.
The last items are a couple of exceptional stat boosters, including Target Tracker and Perfected Formula, meant to complement all the areas of Ana’s kit we’ve focused on improving. Champion’s Kit can be your final item depending on how much currency you end up with. Alternatively, you can settle with the cheaper Nano Cola.
