How to get free First Order Stormtrooper skin in Fortnite

If your Star Wars collection in Fortnite has been sitting in the closet gathering dust, now’s the perfect time to bring it back to life with a new Stormtrooper skin. And what’s best is, you don’t have to pay a single dime for it.

With May the Fourth and the launch of Tales of the Underworld approaching us at lightspeed, you can now claim a free First Order Stormtrooper skin in Fortnite. Here’s how to add the Stormtrooper skin to your Fortnite Locker. 

How to acquire the First Order Stormtrooper skin for free in Fortnite

To get the First Order Stormtrooper in Fortnite, you need to link your Disney+ and Epic Games accounts. It’s an easy process; just follow these steps:

1. Close the game if it’s running.
2. Make sure you have a Disney+ account. If not, create one.
3. Log in to your Epic Games account on a browser using your credentials.
4. On the homepage, select your nickname in the top right, and then select Account.
5. Now, open Apps & Accounts tab. Here, click on the Connect button under Disney+. Click on Sign in and then enter your Disney+ account credentials.
6. Once the sign-in is completed, you’ll be prompted to allow the linking of your Disney+ and Epic Games accounts. Click on Connect Account to confirm.

After linking the accounts, launch Fortnite from the Epic Games Store, and once you load in, you should see a screen where you’ll be able to claim the First Order Stormtrooper outfit. This includes a special style for LEGO Fortnite.

If you’re unable to access the skin, ensure you’re not trying to log into Epic Games with your Disney+ account; this won’t connect your accounts. Go to your account page on the Epic Games website to verify if the link was activated.

The First Order Stormtrooper outfit will be available to claim for free until Aug. 31 at 11pm CT. Make sure you connect your accounts before the timer runs out.

How to get the Asajj Ventress Loading Screen in Fortnite

Besides the First Order Stormtrooper, you can also get a Asajj Ventress loading screen as part of the Tales of the Underworld launch event in Fortnite. To claim it, here’s what you need to do:

1. Load into the Star Wars Watch Party island on May 2 at 9am CT. Here, you’ll be able to watch the first two episodes of the Tales of the Underworld before the show debuts on May 4. The island code is 2124-6713-8076.
2. After watching the episodes, you should be able to claim the free Asajj Ventress loading screen within 72 hours.

The watch party island will be live until May 11, so make sure you complete watching the episodes and claim the reward before then.
