All secret vault locations in Fortnite Chapter 6 season 3 and how to open them

Secret vaults have returned for Fortnite Chapter Six, season three, and we have discovered two so far.

One is located near Brutal Boxcars, and the other is near Canyon Crossing. Check out the secret vault locations here if you want to grab some quick and easy loot.

How to find and enter the secret vault at Canyon Crossing

To visit the secret vault at Canyon Crossing before any other player, jump out of the Fortnite Battle Bus just before Canyon Crossing, and glide down towards the waterfall to the east of the area. Land to the right of the waterfall on the grassy ledge and zipline down to the smaller ledge below. Here, you will generally find a blocked entrance, although sometimes the entrance has been open, so it could be entirely random.

There is no secret trick to this underground treasure trove; all you have to do is break the rocks at the entrance to get inside. When you do, you will find at least four chests, a few Slurp Barrels, and plenty of objects to mine for materials.

If you don’t have any enemy players on your tail, take the time to look around. You may notice a few familiar, tiny creatures dancing on the rocks.

How to find and enter the secret vault at Brutal Boxcars

You can find the second secret vault at the Eat-Eat landmark on the snowy mountains near Brutal Boxcars. This is a more popular spot, so you might want to land at a chest nearby to loot up before attempting to get inside. Head straight to the landmark, and look for the destroyed AT-AT in the snow surrounded by the food trucks, picnic benches, and fairy lights.

This vault is easy to find but not so easy to enter if you don’t know how. Just like at Canyon Crossing, a pile of rocks is blocking the entrance, but you can’t break them with a pickaxe, so how do you get inside? The trick is to climb the AT-AT and fix the wires on the gun turret that points at the cliffside.

Once fixed, the gun will shoot a laser at the rocks, breaking them into pieces and exposing the secret vault entrance. Inside the vault are at least four chests, some Slurp Barrels, and a few rocks and objects to harvest for materials.
