With the Rite of the Nine event in Destiny 2 comes a new currency called the Nonary Manifold. You can use this currency to pick up raid banners or exchange them for reprised weapons at the chest in the Rite of the Nine destination.
While you might be tempted to spend all of it on weapons like Long Arm scout (you can even get Adept drops), Nonary Manifold’s description states that “there may be greater rewards for those who are patient… or perhaps this promise of plenty is merely an illusion.” The message is as cryptic as the Nine themselves, but it might be worth saving the currency closer to the end of the event.
In the meantime, you have plenty of time to stock up on the new currency, so here are all the ways to get Nonary Manifold in Destiny 2.

How to get Nonary Manifold in Destiny 2
Play Rite of the Nine dungeons on any difficulty

Nonary Manifold primarily drops in the Rite of the Nine dungeons. There are three dungeons in the rotation: Spire of the Watcher, Prophecy, and Ghosts of the Deep, all with updated encounters and mechanics.
You can get Nonary Manifold by completing encounters and sometimes defeating enemies in these dungeons. If you’re a solo player, you can do these dungeons on Explore difficulty and still get Nonary Manifold alongside base weapon drops.
Complete The Emissary bounties

Like any vendor in Destiny 2, The Emissary offers daily and repeatable bounties that award Nonary Manifold. These bounties include objectives like defeating enemies with specific weapons or elements in Rite of the Nine dungeons.
Exchange Curios of the Nine

Throughout Episode Heresy, you can collect around 16 Curios of the Nine from the seasonal challenges and the chess puzzle in the Unknown Antichamber. You can exchange them at The Emissary for Nonary Manifolds to get a head start on the new gear.
